What’s the application process like?

• Artists speak with CUE before submitting an application, and receive consultation in developing project proposals.

• Proposals are reviewed by jury of artists and arts professionals. Results are released in late December.

• Artists approved for grants receive funds and are given 4 months to produce projects. CUE remains available to artists throughout the production process to provide support in a variety of ways.

• Artists submit final documentation that will be uploaded to CUE’s website, and short final reports about the process.

• All artworks will be exhibited/performed in May 2022.

• CUE remains available to artists as a resource to help make connections with various future opportunities, lend consultation on external funding proposals, and help artists keep developing their careers and practices.
