Shaughn Martel

In 2017, Shaughn Martel was supported to experiment with a new medium challenging him to translate his abstract visual work into a freestanding sculpture using a 3-D pen. More commonly, 3-D pens are used for jewelry or children's creative play. The artist wanted to take the medium into a more artistic direction, veering away from a place of design.

In 2014, Shaughn Martel was provided funding to experiment with three-dimensional installation work.
