Important message from CUE

Dear artists,

Beginning in the fall of 2023, artists wishing to apply for a CUE art project grant will be able to do so through ArtReach. Over the past year, CUE and ArtReach have been working closely together in developing an integrated approach to our granting programs, and we are happy to announce that, moving forward, ArtReach will be continuing the delivery of CUE’s granting program.

Artists should know that there will be no changes to the eligibility criteria, application process, nor grant amounts. The ArtReach team will be able to work with applicants in developing project proposals, and to provide any supports that are needed. A range of professional development opportunities for grant recipients will be announced over the coming months.

This is a major win for the community. ArtReach shares CUE’s mandate to develop high-access funding systems to support equity-deserving artists, and they bring 15+ years experience that has seen nearly $5 million put into the hands of young artists and cultural leaders across Toronto. There is no organization better equipped to take over and sustain the CUE grant program for years to come. CUE will be on hiatus indefinitely, and we are fully confident that artists will continue to be well-served and supported by the ArtReach team.

Artists can sign up for the ArtReach newsletter to stay informed about this, and all ArtReach granting opportunities.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at info@artreach.org.
